ETH Globe
Design and production (With Severine Telley and Christa Bühler)
From the early stages of the project, I actively participated in the design and production process of the ETH Zurich «Globe» magazine. Together with the design team, we created a visually captivating publication that reflected the spirit of ETH Zürich in each edition. This involved conceptualizing the layout to fit our initial design pitch, and arranging the content in an engaging manner. I also produced the english version of the magazine. For this, I worked together with the translators to ensure a aesthetic pleasing layout and ensure its production quality.
Organization of photoshoots and illustration works
To enhance the visual impact of the magazine, I organized photoshoots and coordinating illustration works. This involved identifying suitable photographers and illustrators, briefing them on the project requirements, and ensuring their work aligned with the magazine’s vision.
Image responsibility
As part of my role, I oversaw the image editing process to maintain consistency and quality throughout the magazine. This included coordinating with photographers and lithographs to ensure that images were optimized for print, edited appropriately, and aligned with the overall design language.
Editorial System responsibility
I
n addition to the design and production aspects, I also did integration and support of the editorial system (Adobe InCopy) used for the «Globe» magazine. Furthermore, I held workshops to familiarize the editorial team with the system’s functionalities, offering ongoing support and guidance to streamline their workflow. By optimizing the editorial process, we were able to enhance collaboration and efficiency, resulting in a smoother production cycle.
